William Ray Allen II, age 63, passed away on December 7, 2023 at his home in Yellville, Arkansas.
William (Bill) was born to William (Billy Ray) and Jane (Cashdollar) Allen on March 21, 1960 in Kankakee, IL.
Bill grew up and attended school in Rantoul, IL until his family moved home to the family farm in Arkansas in 1973. Bill attended high school at Yellville-Summit. He worked with his Dad on the farm, managing the turkey barns and helping with the cattle operation.
Bill was married and had one child (Will). Bill later moved to Florida for a short time before ultimately settling in Dallas, TX, where he worked in sales and fundraising for over 20 years. He retired in 2012 and moved home to be near his family. He was an avid sports fan throughout his life, but he especially loved the Arkansas Razorbacks. He also loved going to and watching the horse races. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, his son and his grandchildren. He was blessed with an exceptional gift to make everyone laugh.
Bill is survived by his son, Will Allen and wife Amber of Mountain Home, four grandchildren Averi, Aubrey, Chasadee and Hudson. He is also survived by one sister, Nancy Allen of Yellville and one nephew, Casey Allen.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Jane Allen and one sister, Cindy Allen.
Visitation will be Friday, December 15th from 10 to 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Yellville.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 15th at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Yellville, with Danny Gilley and Yvonne Thurmond officiating.
Burial will be private.
