Thomas (Tom) Edward Hawk, 73 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on October 9, 2024. Tom was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 19, 1951, a son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Beahrs) Hawk.
A man of many hobbies and passions, Tom loved to play music ranging from guitar, fiddle, harmonica, and steel guitar. He also loved listening to his Ham Radio and was excellent at repairing electronics. Tom was passionate about anything that could fly. He even took flying lessons, purchased a paraplane, and took pleasure in building hobby R/C planes and shooting aerial photography.
Tom's first job was with Fort Wayne General Electric Company as a tool and die maker. He later worked for Oakridge sales, a vending company, as a delivery driver in the 1980’s. He worked hard and received certification in wiring as the company's technician and handled repairs for local businesses that used their services. He also contributed with the wiring construction of Dominion Life Church.
He is survived by his children: Joseph Hawk and Becky (Vladimir) Lange and grandchildren; Alexis Lange, Sophia Lange, Joshua Lane, Gabriel Lange and siblings; Donnabelle (Hawk) Lopez, Frances Hawk, Frank Hawk and niece, Mandy (Lopez) Kelley. He is proceeded in death by his parents, his late brother, John W. Hawk and half-sisters; Virginia (Hawk) Parke, Joann (Hawk) Patten, and Clara (Hawk) Beemer.
A Memorial Service for Tom, with officiant Pastor Steve Curtis, will be held at 10:00AM on October 12th at Dominion Life Church, 2325 New Testament Church Drive, Harrison, Arkansas 72601.
