Sue Wyatt Obituary

Sue Allyn Cory Wyatt, 71, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away at her home on February 16, 2025. She was born on October 30, 1953, and entered eternity with her Lord Jesus Christ by grace through faith.

She grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and maintained a love of her southwest culture.  Susie loved animals, especially dogs and cats, and was very partial to horses. One of her favorite animals was a Buffalo. She enjoyed listening to country music and line dancing.  She had a quirky sense of humor, loved to laugh and to make others laugh. Oh a whim, she would often burst out with a funny saying or strike a ridiculous pose to catch you off guard and elicit giggles and guffaws.

Before retiring, she worked in the gift shop at Gaston's White River Resort. For years Sue volunteered as the safety officer with the local fire department. This epitomized her love to help others.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence A. Shaffer, her parents, Thomas A. Shaffer and Dorothy R. (Holmes) Shaffer Cory Bramble. She is survived by her husband Richard, daughter Shara Cori Scheiner, her sister Kathleen A. (Ralph) Gualano, and her nieces Jolyn (Chuck) Schaefer and Debra Ann Gualano.  Susie also leaves behind a great number of friends and loved ones.

Sue will be missed by all that knew and loved her dearly.

At this time, there is no service planned.
