Shawn Weldon Smith

Shawn Weldon Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas, beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle entered into eternal rest on June 9, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. 

Shawn was born October 12, 1968, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Floyce Lucky (Bussell) and David Ray Smith of Harrison, Arkansas.  Shawn was the third child born out of the four children.  One sister, Tonja preceded him in death.  Shawn attended Joe T. Robinson High School in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He had 24 years of lawn care experience, and he also was a bus driver with Pulaski County Special School District.  

Shawn enjoyed the outdoors and restoring old cars.  A fun weekend for Shawn was horseback riding, canoeing, a day on the lake running trout lines or simply enjoying a cool summer night relaxing on the back deck under the light of tiki torches looking out over the water.

Shawn is survived by his wife, Toni (McKeever) Smith of Little Rock, his son Michael Smith of Bryant, a brother, Tony Smith and his wife Shelley of Rogers and a sister Amy Hyde and her husband Jeremy of North Little Rock and numerous nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

Shawn will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A graveside service will be held as a Celebration of Life for Shawn at 1:00PM on Wednesday June 25, 2025, at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lead Hill, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation located in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
