Ronald Snavely Obituary

Ron is survived by his two children that he loved more than anything; Amber and Tyler Snavely, and 3 brothers; Russell (Rita) Snavely, David (Dalene) Snavely, and Billy (Leslie) Snavely and the mother of his children: Nikki Stiffler.  He is also survived by his dog baby, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ron was a wonderful Dad, friend, uncle and honorary Grandpa to Caleb.  He was born in Denison, Texas, on January 5, 1968.  Ron was very proud of working at Sundown M Ranch, a drug and alcohol rehab center, where he worked as a cook for many years.  He loved to cook and bake more than anything, and did his best cleaning when he was angry!

Ron was genuine, caring and loving, and was a wonderful solid shoulder to lean on.  Aside from cooking and baking, he loved to shop!  You could often find him at Walmart or Cash Saver many days of the week.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.  He was very goofy and could almost always be caught telling jokes to which he would be told “You think you’re funny, but you’re not”.  Ron enjoyed watching football and never missed a Cowboys game.  He watched almost every wrestling pay per view with his pal, Doug, and they enjoyed playing many games.

Above all, Ron loved making memories and remembering previous ones with those that he loved.  He enjoyed various genres of music and if you saw him in his car, he was always rocking out to something.  Ron truly had a heart for others and helping people was a priority of his all the time.  He could be seen sporting an American flag mask, and a “Trump” hat (his iconic look) always.

Ron is immensely missed and loved by his two children and will be remembered by all for years to come.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM - Saturday May 29th, 2021 at Bergman Upper Room Church in Bergman Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, Amber and Tyler would appreciate cards and/or donations to help out with expenses.  They can be sent to 5833 Tar Kiln Road, Harrison, Arkansas, 72601.
