Ronald Gene Crabtree ascended from this world at his home in Peel, Arkansas, to join his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 3, 2023.
He was born Ronald Gene Crabtree in Des Moines, Iowa, April 23, 1936. Gene was raised by Loving Christians, Walter and Edna Crabtree in Polk City, Iowa.
Gene was a very loving father and an ambitious businessman who along with his wife Linda, successfully founded and managed a half-dozen businesses in his lifetime. During the course of his career, he mentored many young men and helped launch them into their own careers that is still providing for their families to this day.
His passions were first and foremost serving his Lord, followed by family time! Fishing and making his kids and grandkids laugh! And he was good at all of it!
Gene is a veteran and served in the Air Force in the Iowa National Guard. He was also an electrical contractor, a resort owner, a woodworker, a homebuilder and a stock car racer.
Gene is survived by his daughter, Sheila Crabtree of Tucson, Arizona, and her children, Pete and Mary. He is also survived by his son; Ronald G. Crabtree ll, his wife Brittany, and their children, Aaron of Park Hills, Missouri, and Caleb and his wife Sarah, and their son Murphy. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Nikole and Gabriella.
Gene is preceded in death by his wife, Linda, and youngest son, Walter Matthew.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm, Saturday, May 13, at Peel Full Gospel Church, in Peel, Arkansas. Officiant is Pastor Carroll (Curly) Johnson.
