Roger Whiteside Obituary

Roger Glenn Whiteside, 68, of Everton AR., passed away October 14th, 2021.  Roger was born December 18th, 1952 in Oklahoma City, OK. to Eulis Luther and Juanita Ruth (Quiggley) Whiteside.   

Roger was proceeded in death by his parents Eulis and Juanita Whiteside, his brother: Richard Whiteside and sisters: Eva Nell Thomas and Anna Mae Hurt.

Roger is survived by his wife: Dawn (Woodell) Whiteside of the home and his Children: Heather Marvel, Jacob DeYoung, Jared Whiteside and Sam Whiteside.  Also surviving are his sisters: Delores Coyle, Rita Baker and Brenda Hogland and brothers: Randy Whiteside and Jim Whiteside. Roger leaves 8 grand-children.

Roger was a veteran of the United States Army.  He worked for over 30 years at Hilltop Nursing Center in Harrison, AR. as a restorative aide and a rehabilitation Technician.  He loved the residents there and was a blessing to all that he worked with at Hilltop. 

He loved his grand-children, history and was an avid Razorback fan.    

A memorial Service will be held 10/18/2021 at First Christian Church in Harrison AR.  Rev. Joanne Flowers presiding.
