Robert Winkelmann Jr, 76, passed away peacefully on 6/8/24 at his home. He was born on July 28, 1947, in Lansdale, PA to Robert Sr and Margaret Winkelmann.
He grew up in Chalfont, PA before his family moved to the country in Fairmont Springs, PA while he was in high school. He graduated from Northwest Area JR SR High School in 1966 and married Charlaine Pickett Winkelmann in September 1969. Together they raised 5 children and in 1995 re-located their family to the Flippin, Arkansas area. Bob was a gifted small engine mechanic and began working for Remington Ranch in Mountain Home, AR, later purchasing the business in 2003 and running it until he retired in 2018. Bob loved the outdoors, both coon and deer hunting, fishing, Nascar, and all things Harley Davidson.
He is survived by long-time companion Mary Turner of the home, a brother Alan Winkelmann, a sister Kathy Konnick, both of Pennsylvania, three sons, Robert III (Kris) of Levittown, PA, Michael (Rebecca) of Flippin, AR, Kyle (Katelyn) of Bella Vista, AR, and a daughter Kelly King (Joseph) of Flippin, as well as multiple grandchildren Alyssa, Allison, Matthew, and Cade.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 35 years, Charlaine, and his son Brian Charles Winkelmann.
He will be missed by so many friends and family members.
