Robert “Bob” Albert VanderJeugdt, 92, Mountain Home, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on January 9,2024. He passed away at Hospice of the Ozarks. He was born on September 23, 1931, in Moline, Illinois. The son of Albert and Florence (Vermuelen)VanderJeugdt.
Robert was a great person with a good soul. He was an head engineer for John Deer for many years. Bob was an Army Veteran, he served during the Korean War. He moved to Mountain Home back in the 90’s and married Ellen, the love of his life in May of 1992. When he and Ellen married, they enjoyed traveling. Bob and Ellen enjoyed the lake life, their home was nestled near it. They appreciated their view and watching the birds. Bob was an avid reader.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Ellen, 4 children, 2 stepchildren, a host of grand and great grandchildren and his beloved companions CoCo and Charlie “the boys”.
A Celebration of Life has not been scheduled at this time, but a date will be announced later.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Bob’s memory to St. Jude’s Research Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
