Ricky Lee Wright

Ricky Lee Wright, 47, of Lead Hill, Arkansas, passed away at Cox South Health Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, on September 4, 2024.  He was born on September 26, 1976, in Gaffney, South Carolina, the son of Ricky D. and Sharon K. (McKinney) Wright. 

Ricky moved to Arkansas 25 years ago and made it his home.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.  When his health was good, Ricky enjoyed camping and boating.  Ricky liked dogs and had one.  He was a huge NASCAR fan; his favorite racer was #24 Jeff Gordan. As Ricky’s health deteriorated, and he was confined to his home he loved to watch those old westerns.  He would watch them over and over and never tired of them.  

Ricky is proceeded in death by his grandfather Archie McKinney and grandmother Helen McKinney.  He is survived by his wife Sherry, his parents Ricky D. and Sharon, his 3 brothers John, Billy and Caleb.  Ricky has 4 children, Eddie, Chelsea, Makayla, and Deborah and 5 stepchildren Thomas, Dale, Kazia, Zachary and Breanna. He leaves behind numerous grandchildren.

Ricky will be greatly missed by those that loved him.
