Richard Alvin Logan, 68, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on May 5th, 2024. He was born on June 30th, 1955, in Harrison, the son of Roger V. Logan and Belle Raley Logan.
Richard enjoyed restoring vintage and specifically Ford vehicles. He was a jack-of-all trades and could build or fix almost anything. He liked building wood furniture, and in his younger days fishing. He sold metal siding and roofing for almost 30 years. Richard was known for helping people until he had declined in health and was unable to. He adored Saturday mornings when his daughters and grandkids would come over for coffee and breakfast. He loved listening to all the chatter that came with that. Richard enjoyed good food and gatherings in his shop. Most of all, he loved the Lord and was proud of the fact that his daughters followed in his footsteps and brought up their families doing the same. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Richard is proceeded in death by his father Roger V. Logan Sr., his mother Belle Raley Logan and his older brother Roger V. Logan Jr.
Richard is survived by his wife Barbara Logan, his daughters Elizabeth (Eddie) Humphrey and Pamela (Shawn) Kindall. Six grandkids, Kade Humphrey, Faith (Tyler) Phillips, Hope Humphrey, Beckett Humphrey, Adri Kindall and Colton Kindall. Also, one great grandchild, Cesar Gonzalez.
The funeral is scheduled for May 10th, 2024, at Silver Valley Church located at 2262 Milam Cemetery Lane in Harrison at 10 AM. Officiating the service is Rodney Stromlund. Pallbearers are Eddie Humphrey, Shawn Kindall, Kade Humphrey, Beckett Humphrey, Tyler Phillips and Kyle Howerton.
