Rhonda Knutson of Harrison AR. went to her heavenly home on December 30th, 2020 after a lengthy heart illness. She had just turned 84 years young.
Rhonda was born to Harold and Catherine Richie in Ojus, FL. on December 28th, 1936. Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her husband Arlin Knutson of Harrison, AR., Daughters Debi Ware and Brandi McNair and sons Wayne Pittillo and David Pittillo, grandchildren Vanessa Negron and Taylor Nenson all of Florida.
What a full life lived well! Rhonda spent a good part of her life being a fitness instructor. She coached swim teams and also produced her own workout videos. She also shared an honor only known to a select few: she carried an Olympic torch for the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Relay. She was an author of several books including: Escape from Hell, Shadows of Corruption and Coast to Coast on a piece of toast. She also spent some time designing her own fashions. She was awarded a life time achievement award from the Red Cross.
Rhonda was a member of Cross Roads Community Church where a memorial service will be scheduled in the near future. This obituary will be updated as details become available.
