Michael McGarity

Jerry “Michael” McGarity, 43 of Rogersville MO, departed this life March 25 at his home.  Michael was born July 27, 1978, in Springfield Missouri to John Franklin and Jeanette McGarity.

Michael was raised in Boliver, Missouri but spent most of his adult life in the Springfield area. He leaves behind his wife Stephanie, son Jayce and daughter Addilyn. Brother, John (Brandy) McGarity of South Carolina, Cousin Theresa (Bernardo) and Aunt Joyce of Boliver.   He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Jennifer Arnold. 

Michael was a caring RN of 21 years. His nursing included ICU, travel nursing and currently worked in the Federal Medical Center in Springfield Missouri.  Mike had a gentle and quiet spirit. His family was the love and joy of his life. His hobbies included farming, gardening, beekeeping, his chickens and his vast collection of houseplants. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family. 

Memorial services will be Saturday April 2 @ 2:00pm at the Arnold Cemetery in Harrison, AR (3592 Evergreen Lane).
