Mary Alice (Abbott) Owens

Mary Alice Owens, 77 of Yellville, AR., passed away on December 9th, 2023, at home with her husband by her side.   

Mary was born on January 2nd, 1946, the daughter of Robert and Rose (Moreland) Abbott.  She was married to max Owens Sr. on June 20th, 1967, in Winchester TN.   She preceded in death by her children Robert and Diane and her sisters Wanda and Betty Jo.   

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Max Owens Sr. of the home her son Danny Coley and many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

Mary worked in many factory settings and was a police officer in Rossville Ga.  Mary loved her dogs Rascal and Black-a-doodle.  Mary loved her Lord and being married to a Minster; she helped many people along the path of her life.   

A graveside service will be held on December 14th, 2023, at 11am in KeeSee Cemetery with Gene Saylors officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, 156 Bear Hollow Ln, Yellville, AR.   72657.
