Mary Belle (Shunk) Moore

Mary Belle Moore, 87, of Flippin, Arkansas, peacefully passed away at Twin Lakes Therapy and Living Center on December 22, 2025.  She was born in Halliday, Arkansas on March 26, 1938, the daughter of Matthew Claude and Themie Marie (Jackson) Shunk. 

Mary enjoyed gardening, both vegetables and plants.  She also liked to sew.  She worked at Baxter Lab for 17 years and then retired at 62.  Mary loved the Lord and going to church, she was a member of the Assembly of God church in Flippin, Arkansas.  Most of all, Mary loved her family and grandkids.      

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Willie Moore, her son Douglas J. Moore, and two grandson Derric Ray Covington and Jarred Ray Covington.

She is survived by her three children, Michael Moore of Flippin, Arkansas and family, DeJohnna Gundry of Choctaw, Oklahoma and family, and Lisa Pianalto of Yellville, Arkansas and family.  Among those family members are 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 

Mary will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her.

Arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation located in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
