Martin Ray Prentice

Martin, {Marty} R. Prentice, Born February 20, 1950, to Raymond (Diz) and Gertrude (Mic) Prentice, in Paw Paw, Illinois. He was the third child of 5. He completed 12 years if school in his hometown, enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1969, completed basic training at Camp Pendleton California, 2 tours in Vietnam and later stationed in Okinawa Japan. He discharged November 18, 1973, with the rank of Corporal. His interest ranged from Family, Lawn care, Radio controlled Drones, and Helicopters, Computer Flight Simulation and Computer Gaming,

He worked several laborer jobs, most recently 20 years at Wabash Wood Products. After discharge he married twice, having 2 children, Nichole Morgan and Amanda Prentice. He married for the third time June 24, 2000, to Edith Prentice, gaining 3 more children, Jeremy Moore, Nicole (Mitchell) Smith, Alvin (Allison) Moore, several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mic and Diz, sister Marilyn Reese nieces Carrie Morgan, Carrie Lynn Fox , Brother in Laws Gary Fox and Kenneth Ward, and Grandson Masen Moore. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Edith, his Brothers Dennis Prentice, Gene Terry, Sisters Andria (Andi) Ward, Janis (Janni) Fox, and Christine (Gary) Wideman, his 5 children, 12 grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service, with Military Honors will be held at The Full Gospel Church of Snow, 100 Marion Co 3026, Yellville, AR 72687 Saturday November 25, 2023, at 2:30.
