Lemuel Keith Pettis

Lemuel Keith Pettis, 77, of Valley Springs, Arkansas, passed away June 18, 2021. Lemuel was born July 3, 1943, in Bastrop, Louisiana, the son of Albert and Verna Jinks Pettis. Lemuel is predeceased by his wife, Louetta Ruby Pettis.

Lemuel “Keith” was a very loving, kind-hearted man. He had a generous side and was always ready to help. He worked for Boise Cascade for 15 years, and later he sold shoes for factory warehouses. He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around with family and friends. Keith was a family man and enjoyed getting together whenever they were able. Keith also loved his church and the people that were part of it. He loved to hunt and fish with his kids and spent many years going to the places that they knew well. But most of all, Keith loved his wife, Louetta. They were a perfect match, and they were always together. He loved her everyday and still does.

Keith is survived by his sons; Jimmy and Johnny Flippo, and his daughter, Sabrina Sparks. Keith is also survived by his 4-legged babies; Buddy, Skipper and Suzy.
