Otto Lee Hampton, of Lead Hill, AR., passed away on January 22, 2023, at the Hospice of the Hills after a long year of fighting cancer. He was born November 12, 1942, in San Diego CA and grew up in Santa Ana CA. He is preceded in death by his Mother Esther Andrews and his first wife Ellyn (Lyn) Hampton. He leaves to celebrate his life here on earth, his wife Mildred Hampton of the home, daughter Kristi (Robert) Doman of Sedona AZ., sons: Andrew (Becca) Hampton of Big Bear CA., and Scott (Ellen) Hampton of Nixa MO., a stepson Dewayne (Laela) Albright and stepdaughter Debra Albright. His surviving grandchildren include Joshua Hamptons, Andreanna Hampton, Adam Hampton, Alexander Hampton, Vanessa Romero, Brianna Dunworth, Dewey Albright and Rocky Roland and 10 Great-grandchildren.
Lee was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Branson and past Master of the Masonic Lodge 726 in Yucaipa, CA. He was a 32-degree Scottish Rite Mason, Shriner and Eastern Star Worthy Patron. He was on the Citizens Patrol County Sheriff Department in San Bernadino, CA. Lee did missionary work in Rio Bravo and Costa Rica, volunteered at the Good Neighbor Food Cupboard and Camp Jack. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Lead Hill, AR. Lee owned Hampton Lawn Services. He loved this type of work, especially growing beautiful roses. Those who knew him appreciated his loyalty and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service from 2-4PM, Sunday, March 19, 2023, at The Diamond City Community Center, in Diamond City, Arkansas, with Internment at Milum Cemetery in Lead Hill.
