Lavina Friend Obituary

Lavina Rae Friend, 79, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2022. Lavina was born on July 31, 1942, to Arthur Raymond Walker and Agnes Lavina Walker in Wichita, Kansas. She graduated from Wichita North High School and in 2014, at the age of 72, she went on to study accounting at North Arkansas College.

She married Max Allen Friend, Sr. on April 30, 1970, going on to have three children, Max Allen Friend, Jr., Donald Arthur Friend and Henry Newell Friend.

Lavina was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Agnes Walker, and her son, Henry Friend.

She is survived by her two sons, Max and Donald Friend; seven grandchildren, Dakota Friend, Jayden Ingerson, Marletta Price, Montana Friend, Sage Friend, Justin Riggen and Rebekah Friend; and two great grandchildren, Esther and Gabby.

A celebration of life will be held in Harrison. The dates will be announced here as they become available.
