Kim Michelle Mondy, age 59, of Harrison, AR. went to be with the Lord on April 27th, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Kim was born on December 30th, 1963, to Angie Claspill and Ronald Beckett in Springfield MO. After graduating from Hillcrest High School in 1982 and living in Texas with her mother and step father Robert Claspill whom she called ‘Dad’, She spent most of her life in Harrison AR.
Kim was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up a whole room. She cared so deeply for the people around her. Kim was kind, compassionate and had an impact on so many lives. She was a strong independent woman who loved riding horses, camping, fishing, gardening and taking the ones she loved on picnics.
Kim had worked her way to the top at every job she had in her management career. It started with Walgreens being the head cosmetologist and selling the most products. That job lead to partnering in the opening of Wild Bill’s Travel Center as one of her greatest accomplishments. She went to work for Murphy USA gas stations as a manager of several locations.
Kim was the most hard-working woman and did everything she could to take care of her girls.
We know she is resting in the arms of angels in a place of peace and love. She is always watching over us from heaven above.
