Karen Lee Johnson, 74, passed away April 29, 2022, after her battle with metastatic breast cancer, in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born April 5, 1948, in Berryville, Arkansas, to Evelyn (Quigley) and Floyd Johnson. Karen leaves her children; Michael Johnson, Elise Johnson, Erica Walters, her grandchildren; Michel Davis, Korissa Whitney, Erik, Eron and Maxwell Johnson, Natalia and Sylas Phillips, Miranda, Madeline, and Taylor Walters, and Mena and Gabriel Chin; and three great grandchildren; Bryden, Cattleya, and Destin Crowell.
In the 1970’s, Karen moved to Warrensburg, Missouri, to study at Central Missouri State University. She was interested in Anthology and Sociology. Warrensburg is where she stayed for most of her life. She spent many years working at the Tee Haus downtown and raised her three children there.
Karen loved British murder mysteries, gardening and herbs. She was a strong believer in natural healing. She was a wealth of knowledge about many varied topics, and the person you would want on your team Trivial Pursuit. She was a loving parent, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by; both her parents, Evelyn (Quigley) and Floyd Johnson, her sister, Shirley Johnson-Brown.
She will be cremated per her wishes and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
