Judy Taylor, 71, of Mountain Home, AR

March 1, 1952, to July 28, 2023

Judy Taylor of Mountain Home, AR, peacefully passed away at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, in Mountain Home, AR, on July 28, 2023. Judy was 71. Judy was born in Pasadena, CA, to her parents Richard and Virginia Evans, on March 1, 1952.

Judy, who was a long-time resident of West Covina, CA, graduated from Nogales High School, in La Puente, CA, in 1970. In 1972, she earned a Paralegal degree from Whittier College, CA. In 1975, she earned a business degree from Mount SAC in Walnut, CA. In the Los Angeles area, Judy worked as a Paralegal for a well-known law firm, and as an Executive Assistant at Honeywell International and at Vons Grocery Corporation. Judy decided to relocate her family to the Ozarks, to Mountain Home, AR, in 1989. From 1990 to 2000, Judy worked for Ballard & Company, in Mountain Home, as their Office Manager. In 2002, Judy became a Medical Transcriptionist, and she went on to work for several doctor’s offices in the Mountain Home area. In 2004, she started working online from home, for out-of-state medical transcription companies. She was a Medical Transcriptionist for the last 21 years of her life.

As a young girl, Judy learned to play the piano, which she enjoyed doing. Judy most loved spending time with her family and numerous pets. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, swimming, knitting, quilting, crocheting, reading books, listening to music, crossword puzzles, bird watching, playing games on her phone, and watching movies and TV. She was also an outstanding seamstress and loved to sew.

Judy is survived by her two children, Russell Taylor and Robyn Snyder, and her granddaughter Erika Snyder, of Mountain Home, AR. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Evans II of Claremont, CA, her nephews, John Evans of Chino Hills, CA, and Richard Evans III of East Redding, CA, her niece, Allison Evans of Upland, CA, and her former sisters-in-law, Colleen Murray of Pomona, CA, and Janet Pearson of Redding, CA.

Judy was preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents Richard and Virginia Evans, her grandson Austin Snyder, her former husband Howard Taylor, and her aunts and uncles.
