Jerrel Brandon Brewer

Jerrel Brandon Brewer, age 47, of Alpena, Arkansas, departed this life August 5, 2024. He leaves behind his wife Deborah, his children Jerrel, Hunter, Jennifer, Kassidy, Tabithia, Tiffany, Tyeisha and Curtis and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was the son of Jessie and Linda (Dillon) Brewer of Everton, Arkansas.

Though occasionally living in Texas and Kentucky, he always returned to northwest Arkansas. He said that was always truly home. Over the years he worked many jobs but always returned to his favorite - truck driving. He loved looking out over those big hoods, holding the steering wheel. Brandon said he guessed he was born with diesel in his blood. He remembered sitting on his dad's lap playing with the steering wheel before he could walk. Jerrel was not a complicated man, all he wanted was to spend time with his family and friends and drive them big trucks.

PaPa Brandon loved playing with the grandkids, taking them to the creek or just to the store for ice cream and candy. His perfect weekend was going swimming and fishing, then building a big bonfire in the backyard, barbequing, roasting marshmallows and having a cold beer with family and friends. He was not a complicated man, he never wanted fame and riches, he just wanted a quiet simple life with his loved ones and friends.

Brandon was always ready to help out when someone needed an extra hand. His passing has left an eighteen-wheeler-sized hole in our lives and hearts, there will never be anyone to fill, he was greatly loved and is greatly missed. But I know he is sitting in that last big truck stop in the sky swapping lies with the other drivers waiting for us to catch up to him.
