James "Mike" Michael Williams

James “Mike” Michael Williams, 63, of Yellville, Arkansas, passed away on September 18, 2025, at Baxter Health Hospital in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born on March 3, 1962, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the son of Carl and Ann (Smith) Williams. 

Mike enjoyed playing music, fishing, hunting and playing with the grandkids.  Also, he loved working with the crew at Triton and Ranger Boats.  Mike always made friends with the people he encountered.  He was blessed with the gift of gap!

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Ann Williams of Lafayette, Georgia, his son Brandon Williams of Harrison, Tennessee, and lots of aunts and uncles. 

Mike is survived by his wife Delana Williams of Yellville, Arkansas, his children Carmen Williams of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, Bryan Ford of Harrison, Arkansas, Jason Ford (Leslie) of Palestine, Arkansas and Hunter Williams of Yellville, Arkansas.  Also, he leaves behind three sisters Darlene Burns and Carol Sherman of Ringgold, Georgia and Carla Ashworth of Lafayette, Georgia.  Mike had 7 grandchildren, Ashlyn Hyatt, Boston Hyatt, Aubrey Bice all from South Pittsburg, Tennessee, Mackenzie and Ethan Ford of Palestine, Arkansas and Sadie and Xander of Harrison, Arkansas. 

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday September 26, 2025, 10:00AM at Mars Hill Church of God 1122 Lee Rd. 814, Palestine, Arkansas.  There will be another Celebration of Life on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. The time and the exact location are to be announced.

Also, on October 11th and 12th there will be a construction weekend in Mike’s honor at the Williams’s house located at 725 Deer Meadows Lane, Yellville, Arkansas.  Mike had been working on their new home for the past several months and was close to getting it completed.  Friends and family are welcome to drop in. 

Arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation located in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
