James "Jimmy" Leland Sheppard, 49, of Harrison, Ar passed away on May 13,2021 at Branson Cox Hospital in Branson, Mo. He was born Jan. 21, 1972 in Siloam Sporings, Ar to James Edward & Peggy Coreana "Arnold" Sheppard. He attended Gentry High School in Gentry, Arkansas. During his High School years, he played football for the Gentry Pioneers and received several awards in Art. He graduated in 1990. In 2009, he received a State of Arkansas Governor's Silver Career Readiness Certificate for completing skill level 4 of the Workkeys Assessment In Applied Mathematics, Locating Information and Reading for Information.
Jimmy was very dependable, trustworthy, respected and loved by many. He was best known for his Red Pontiac Grand Am, that he proudly washed and waxed almost daily until he wasn't able to do so. He had a good sense of humor and an amazing knowledge of music and could often name songs of any genre in just a few notes. He was also a very talented Artist. He even designed and drew a logo for a small bar in Southwest Missouri that was used on Billboards, t shirts, jackets, etc. He had been a diabetic for several years, and was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure shortly after Mom passed in January. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Maternal Grandparents, Paternal Grandfather, and a Niece Julia Charae Anderson.
He is survived by a Daughter, Jessica Renee Bergan of Tulsa. A Son, James Dakota Sheppard of Harrison. Paternal Grandmother, Mary Ellen "Doss" Sheppard of Gentry, Ar; a Sister, Laurice Charmain "Shorty" "Sheppard" Anderson of Harrison, A Brother, Tracy Edward Sheppard of Harrison, a Nephew Justin Sheppard Wilks, 3 Nieces Felicia Dawn Anderson, KImber Jo Sheppard, and Jayden Anne Farmer, 2 Great Nephews Richard Allen Zorn, Jr. and Gunter Long, 2 Great Nieces Callie Jo Long and Alice Charae Coreana Grace Anderson. Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Many Friends.
He will be Forever Missed but Never Forgotten.
