Ima Jean Stapleton Obituary

Ima Jean Stapleton, 93, of Harrison, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. She was born March 16, 1928, the daughter of Aubrey and Bernice Hickenbottom.

Ima Jean lived a full and happy life, always calling Harrison her home. She will be missed by many that counted on her to be their memory, always there to recall the past, no matter how small the detail or how much time had passed. With her passing, so much history will be forgotten, but we will never forget Ima Jean.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert (Bob) Hickenbottom, and both her children, Leslie (L.A.) and Pamela. Ima Jean is survived by her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends, all too numerous to list by name, and loved by all.

A private ceremony for family will be held at a later date where Ima Jean will be laid to rest with her children. Services will be arranged by Diamond State Cremation and Mortuary Service. Condolences may be left at www.DiamondStateCremation.com
