Ian James Buchanan

Ian James Buchanan, 47, of Cherokee Village Arkansas, passed away on March 17, 2025, at Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  He was born on December 22, 1977, in Washington, DC, the son of James and Judy (Sutherland) Buchanan.

James enjoyed cooking; he was a huge horror movie lover.  James loved his car and was a member of the NEABASS Club.  He was adventurous and liked being out in nature.  James was always happy and had a smile on his face, he wanted the same for others.  He would do anything for his family and friends, he loved his daughter Madison with his whole heart.  

After being diagnosed with cancer, James made the decision to go on a trail drug.  He appreciated life and was a true fighter and fought till the end!!!

James is survived by his mother Judy, daughter Madison and partner Nikole Odom.

He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. 

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
