Hurston “Bubba” Jerome Luneau
September 1, 1954 – December 9, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hurston Luneau, at the age of 69. He passed away at his home in Marble Falls.
He will forever be remembered by his loving wife Donna; daughter Brandy Howell and fiancée Wesley Sipe; granddaughter Mikayla Howell and fiancée Lon Berryhill III and grandson Wyatt Howell. He is also survived by his sister Linda Childers and husband Mike; brother David Luneau and wife Teresa; brother Guy Luneau and wife Kelly; sister-in-law Toni and numerous nieces and nephews.
Hurston was preceded in death by his father Sonny Luneau, his mother Eva Luneau, his brother Antone Luneau and a nephew Andrew.
Bubba was born in Pensacola, Florida. He spent his early years in Houma, Louisiana where he met and married Donna in 1973. He moved his family to Arkansas in 1989 and made it his home.
During his life he was mechanic, truck driver, owned a mobile home setting company and was a crane operator after which he retired. He spent his retirement years shooting Zombies with his wife.
He touched everyone’s life that he encountered. Hurston will be sorely missed.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled later and announced.
