Henry loved music all his life. He was passionate about playing guitar and could play it very well. He played lead guitar in many locations and played with some of the local greats. Henry traveled with his family living in Arizona, California, and Washington. He settled in Harrison, AR in 1966.  Henry worked as an apple picker in Washington, a barrel maker in California, worked for the forestry in California, and managed the Go-Gas next to Hudson’s Grocery for twenty years in Harrison before retiring. Henry came out of retirement to work at Ashley’s Music store until they closed.
