Benjiman “Henry” Crow, age 85, of Harrison AR, went home to be with the Lord Jan 10th, 2023, at North Arkansas Reginal Medical Center surrounded by his family.
The son of Benjiman Fred Crow and Lillie Mae Scroggins Crow was born June 20th 1937 in Harrison, AR.
Preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers, Lee Crow and Louie Crow; his two sisters, Billie Jean Atkinson and Joy Lou Crow.
Henry loved music all his life. He was passionate about playing guitar and could play it very well. He played lead guitar in many locations and played with some of the local greats. Many would say he was also a local great. He spent many hours playing with the guys at Ashley Music store and very much cherished that time.
He loved the Lord and loved sharing his faith with others. He would often talk about soul winning and how it was his calling. Henry’s Bible is full of the names and dates of each person he led to the Lord.
Henry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles in his younger days.
Henry traveled with his family living in Arizona, California, and Washington. He settled in Harrison, AR in 1966. Henry worked as an apple picker in Washington, a barrel maker in California, worked for the forestry in California, and managed the Go-Gas next to Hudson’s Grocery for twenty years in Harrison before retiring. Henry came out of retirement to work at Ashley’s Music store until they closed.
Henry is survived by his wife Bernice Crow; his daughter, Barbara Logan and her husband, Richard Logan; daughter Brenda Crow; son Benji Crow, and his wife, Julie Crow; and son, Bruce Crow; along multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral will be at Silver Valley Church on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:00 am.
