Greta Jean (Barnes) Hurtt

Greta “Jean” Hurtt, 72, of Diamond City, Arkansas, peacefully passed away at her home, on November 22, 2025, with her husband Larry by her side.  She was born on October 1, 1953, in Batesville, Arkansas, the daughter of Jim and LaVada (Haggard) Barnes.   

A memorial Service honoring the life of Greta Jean Hurtt will be held on December 13, at 11:00AM.  The service will be held at Southern Hills Missionary Baptist Church, located at 178 James Way in Harrison, Arkansas. 

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Greta’s life, her kindness, her unwavering love for those around her, and the joy she brought to everyone she knew.  All who were touched by her presence are invited to join in remembering and giving thanks for her life. 

In lieu of sending flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to your local food band in honor of Greta’s memory.

Arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation located in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
