Gerald Epley of Green Forest, Arkansas, was born September 8, 1943, to Myrl and Audrey (Anderson) Epley. Gerald passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 77 years. He fought a courageous battle with cancer.
Gerald graduated from Green Forest High School. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he earned a National Defense Service Metal. After an honorable discharge from the Army, Gerald returned to Carroll County, Arkansas, and started a family. He worked many years as a businessman, a fishing guide, and finally retired from the Tyson plant.
Gerald loved and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved spending time teaching and taking his family and friends on many adventures. Gerald always had a smile on his face and was a loving father, grandfather, and friend that will be missed dearly.
Gerald is survived by his two daughters: Devan Hill of Green Forest and Andrea Snyder of Springdale, Arkansas. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Hunter Hill and wife Emma, and Hailey Hill of Green Forest, and Kason Snyder and Kennon Doss of Springdale, Arkansas. Gerald also leaves one sister, Helen Snow of Green Forest, and many more dear friends and family.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, Myrl and Audrey Epley. A celebration of life will be held at a later date with ashes being interred at Yokum Cemetery.
