Fred Albert Barnard Jr. 60, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 16, 2020.  Born July 3, 1960, in Kankakee, Illinois, the son of Sandra E. Beaver Barnard.

In 1978, Fred joined the U.S. Air Force and served 14 faithful years, Fred is a Gulf War Veteran, while serving he became a Certified Chef that continued well after he retired in 1992.  In 1975 Fred met his wife Janell they married in November 1978. They made a beautiful home and had two children.  The family has since grown!  Fred is known for his playfulness, kidding, and cutting up.  Nobody was safe!  He loved to Serve the Lord and make people laugh, he was a joy to be around.  When he wasn’t serving people or making them laugh, Fred was always busy helping people. He had the biggest heart! He was always busy doing something, He didn’t like idle time.  He loved to fish, spend time with family, cook for small family get together to massive events, riding motorcycles and Youth Ministry serving the Lord.  He was always willing to share any of these passions with anyone. He also loved to help wherever he was needed, and although he was in pain a lot towards the end, he never complained.  

Fred is survived by his wife, Janell of 42 years, his daughter, Tiffany her husband Robert of Harrison, his Son, Billie his wife Lindy of Cabot. His 14 grandchildren, Breanna, Olivia, Kasey, Kendra, Nathanial, Ashlyn, Akayla, Noah, Myca, Bayleigh, Karson, Krestlynn, Jaxton and Kyleigh.

Fred was a member of Disabled American Veterans, The Christian Motorcycle Association and the Capps/Batavia Volunteer Fire Department.   Fred always had a soft-spot for animals. 

His Celebration of Life will be held October 24th 5pm at Restoration Life Fellowship 8113 Hwy 392 Harrison AR 72601
