Eugene Wayne Hurst

         Eugene Wayne Hurst, 66, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on October 6, 2023.  He was born on January 8, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Kenneth and Alice (Cunningham) Hurst. 

         Eugene enjoyed being outdoors and hunting and fishing.  He liked the lake.  Also, Eugene loved his work, when he was just 18, he started doing upholstery.  He did it for over forty years until he retired.  Some of his favorite things to work on were old cars and antique furniture. 

         Eugene is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Douglas and Wesley Caldwell and his grandparents.

         Eugene is survived by his sons Kenneth Hurst (fiancée Ashley) and Robert Hurst.  Two sisters, Melba (Mitchell) Croney and Thelma Franks.  Also, many other family members and friends.

         A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
