Ella Jane (Shields) Holtmann

         Ella Jane Holtmann 84, of Harrison/Lead Hill, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday September 6th, 2023.  She was born September 1st, 1939, in Minden Louisiana, the daughter of Hugh Clawson and Susie Glenn Shields. 

         Ella enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was an avid crocheter. Ella made baby blankets for newborns.  She was a pink lady at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center for years.  Ella was a member of the Navy Wives Club and in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association, where she held every office. She loved and enjoyed her yorkie babies.  Her children were her pride and joy. 

         Ella is preceded in death by her parents Susie and Hugh Shields, brother Billy Shields and a son Charles Allen Wood.

         She is survived by her husband Paul H. Holtmann, son Michael L. (Lisa) Wood, daughters Deborah D. (Richard) Sommers, Michelle M. (Eric) Grosser, Stephanie Holtmann, Rena (Kevin) Horton and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

         Ella will be greatly missed by her family and many others.   

         A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday September 9th at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Harrison, Arkansas at 11:00am.  Mark Rice officiate.  Pallbearers are Michael Wood Jr., Joshua Kovach, Sean Sommers, Jordan Grosser, Anthony Wood and Andrew Holtmann.
