Eddie Elmo Wright, 80 of Harrison Arkansas passed away May 7th, 2021 at home with his family by his side. Eddie was born March 8th, 1941 in Zack Arkansas the son of Arthur Robert Wright and Joyce Horton Wright.
Eddie was a carpenter and was known for the beautiful cabinets he built – but cabinetry was not the only thing he excelled at. He loved to fix things that he did not know anything about and loved to teach others with no skills. Eddie loved to hunt and fish with his kids and grand-kids even if he only got to watch. He loved his family deeply and cherished every moment with them – but above all, Eddie loved the Lord with all his heart.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 34 years Janice May Wright of the home and children: Tony Wright and wife Sandy of Harrison, Eric Wright of Harrison, Melissa Hall and husband Tom of Berryville, Sarah Eboli and husband James of Chiefland, Florida, Kevin W. Earnhart of Harrison and Karen Kinard of Harrison. He loved his grand-children: Christina (Jeremy) Mefford, Wes (Lauren) Wright, Chelsey Smith, Andrew (Ashley) Wright, Skylar (Justin) Farmer, Chris (Leila) Hall, Corey Hall, Kali (Colby) Carter, Cade Kinard, Noah Edwards, Shalynn Storms, Christopher ‘Jeffie’ Elliott, Joshua Elliott and his treasured great-grand-children: Easton Carter, Asher Carter, Kira Greenhaw, Gentry Greenhaw, Rylan Wright, Hasting David Wright, Owen Luke Wright, Jynnin Tate Smith, T.J. Hall, Avery Hall, Zach Hall, Ellie Hall and Jade Rose.
Eddie welcomed numerous foster children into his home and cared for each as if they were his own.
“Just about anything bad that you can think of….there’s some good in it somewhere. It may be hard to find, but it’s there.” Eddie Wright
