Doyle Weber Obituary

Doyle Dwight Weber, 68, of Gassville, Arkansas passed away on September 11, 2024, at his home with his children by his side.  Doyle was born on December 13, 1955, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Jacob and Charlotte (Pethoud) Weber.

He was the last child born of 13 children.  Doyle was born on Friday the 13th.  His favorite holidays were Christmas and the 4th of July.  Of course, he liked Christmas because he had a big heart and loved giving to others.  July 4th was simply enjoyed because he liked blowing things up and making big bangs.  His children said he would spend thousands on fireworks each year.  Doyle liked helping others, he was described as someone that would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it.

Doyle was a proud veteran; he served our country in the Navy Seals.  He fought in the Vietnam War.  Doyle did not escape the war without injury, he was shot several times.

He enjoyed being a dad and spending time with friends and family.  Doyle was partial to rock-in-roll music, he liked fishing, but most of all he liked going to the casinos to play the slots, blackjack and poker.  He didn’t miss football, his favorite team was the Chicago Bears, Doyle also liked watching baseball.  Of course, he rooted for the Saint Louis Cardinals.

Doyle is preceded in death by his parents, and several of his brothers and sisters.  He is survived by his 3 children Jonathan and Joseph Weber and Jenna McDaniel. Also, his siblings Sharon, Doris, Jackie and Jim, not to mention numerous nieces and nephews.

He had great friends that he considered his family.  Doyle will be missed by so many people.

The family plans on having a Celebration of Life at a later date.
