Dortha M. Truett-Vogt

Age 87, originally of Canton, passed away peacefully on March 30.  Born in Iuka, West Virginia to the late Benjamin and Arlie Henderson. 

Dortha worked alongside her husband, self-employed in the metal finishing business.  Her passion was flowers and her beautiful landscaping.  She also enjoyed auto racing, traveling the United States with her husband, Jack and relaxing on her sun porch. 

In addition to her parents, Dortha was preceded in death by her husband, Jack H. Vogt, her sons Brad and Kevan Truett, and 3 brothers and 2 sisters. 

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Pappas and Kelly Truett, stepchildren, Jack (Nancy), Bill (Mary) Vogt, daughters-in-law, Bonnie Truett and Cheryl Truett.  13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. 

Chapel services will be on April 29 at the Sunset Hills Memory Garden in the Mausoleum Chapel at 1:00PM,
