Diana Marie Rips, 76, of Bergman, Arkansas passed away on January 26, 2024, at her home with family by her side. She was born on November 27, 1947, in Portland, Oregon. Diana was the daughter of George Albert Hamblin and Dolly B. Long.
Diana enjoyed so many things in life. She was passionate about quilting, sewing and bead working. Diana loved family gatherings and cooking for them. She had several careers during her lifetime, but she really liked being a housewife and was enthusiastic about her house plants and flowers. Diana enjoyed playing Bingo and winning the prizes.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents George and Dolly, husband Charles E Rips Sr., sons Charles E Rips Jr., Shelton Ray Daniels (Melissa), Michael Watts (Kristy Cantwell), and two granddaughters Kayla Marie Rips and Toni Marie Daniels.
Diana is survived by her daughter LaDonna Hamblin (Danny Rowe), grandchildren Brittany Jordan, Vincent Daniels, Sabastian Daniels, Shelton E.D. Davidson, Gavin L, Davidson, Courtney Watts, Savanha Watts, Tristan Dutton and Quintin Watts. She had nine great grandchildren, Hadrian Daniels, Damian Daniels, Emma Daniels, Jaryn Racine, Larissa Racine, Kaisen Jordan, Lola Jordan, Aubrey Jordan and Carter Jordan. Also living is her brother Gary Long and two sisters Carol Moss (Jim) and Christina Hamblin and numerous nieces and nephews. Diana is also survived by her great friends Cathay and Burt Love.
A Celebration of Life is planned for February 3, 2024, at 2 pm. Services will be directed by Pastor Charlie Rowe at Pine Grove Church, located at 500 Pine Grove Lane in Morning Star, Arkansas.
