Danny James Gregory, 63, of Boone County, Arkansas, passed away June 21, 2021.  Born March 10, 1958, in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Wallace James and Lamee Cecelia McClellan Gregory.  Danny is predeceased in death by his parents, and three siblings.

Danny was born in Florida and absolutely loved everything Florida had to offer.  He was a commercial fisherman and crabber for many years and had a lot of good memories of his home state.  Danny also spent many years in the construction trade and was about one of the best builders out there.

Florida is where Danny met his wife, Patricia.  They started a family and together they had many wonderful years.  It wasn’t until later in life they decided to join up with other family in Arkansas.  Together they explored the Ozarks and enjoyed the beautiful countryside, along with their families and friends.

Danny is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, his daughters; Sarah Hoffman and Mary Putney, his son; Joshua Gregory, his two grandchildren; Elliot Hoffman and Glen Edward Putney,  and Brothers: John Bell of Alaska, Paul Bell and Wallace Gregory of Florida and Sisters:  Toni Ellingworth and Lynett Viehe of Florida.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later time.

I have so many wonderful memories of my Uncle Danny. Though looking back, it’s funny that not one of those memories took place indoors m. He was a man who loved being in nature, fishing, working in his massive garden, walking the land Like the land and the waters that he so loved, he loved, protected and cared for all of those around him
When not outside, Danny loved nothing more than a treasure hunt. He had an amazing eye for finding something discarded by most. He saw beauty and value in the small things around him.
He was a fisherman, an Artist, and a wonderful person who will missed by all who knew him.
I know that his spirit will remain and guide those who he loved to find their own treasures

I have so many wonderful stories about my Uncle Danny. Though looking back, it’s funny that I don’t have a single memory of him indoors. He was a man who truly loved being outside. Didn’t matter if it was fishing, gardening, walking the land.. he was in his element IN the elements. And like the lands and waters that he so loved, he was strong, supportive and protecting of his family and those he loved.
He also loved a good treasure or finding a special forgotten item. He found beauty in things moray people didn’t see as anything other than trash.
He was a fisherman, an artist and a special man.
His spirit will stay with those he loves and help them find their own treasures.
He will always be loved
