Daniel Jewell

Daniel Jewell, 59, of Gassville, Arkansas passed away at his home on June 12, 2024.  He was born on February 10, 1965, in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Norman Jewell and Nancy Kornita. 

Dan grew up in Marinette, Wisconsin.  He was a very smart man and wrote poetry.  When watching Jeopardy, he had no problem answering all the questions.  He attended college and had a degree in writing.  Dan enjoyed fishing. He loved his 3 cats, especially Squeakers.  His favorite shows were The Big Bang Theory and The Walking Dead.  He was an avid cook. 

Dan is preceded in death by his father, his mother, and his brother Jeffery Clark.  He is survived by his 2 sisters, Karen (Steve) Seymour of Marinette, Wisconsin and Jessica (Ken) Laessig of Peshtigo, Wisconsin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many cousins, including a special cousin Mark LaBrun of Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Dan will be missed by so many friends and family.  A Celebration of Life is scheduled on Wednesday, June 19th at Shiloh Cemetery in Thayer, Missouri.
