Dale Edward Kisner, 53, passed away peacefully in his home on the evening of March 18th, 2025. He was born on September 3rd, 1971, in Harbor City, California, to Dennis Kisner (deceased) and Barbara Berroteran.
The family moved to Delhi, California, during Dale's childhood, where he developed a love for the outdoors, spending many summers camping and fishing at Lake McClure—his lifelong favorite spot. After graduating from Hilmar High School in 1989, Dale lived and worked in Turlock, California, for most of his life before making the move to Lead Hill, AK, in 2022.
Dale faced numerous health challenges throughout his life, particularly autoimmune conditions, but his strength and determination were evident to all who knew him. In 2024, he was diagnosed with cancer, a battle he fought with courage until his passing.
Dale was a loving brother, father, husband, and grandfather. He is survived by his two older brothers, Robert and Chris Kisner; his mother, Barbara Berroteran; his daughters, Arianne and Amy; his wife, Shere; his stepdaughter, Taylore Hale; and his step-grandchildren, Easton, Luke, and Elise.
A lifelong fisherman, Dale was a tenacious man who found true happiness living on the lake, a dream he was thrilled to fulfill. His love for the outdoors and his family will always be remembered.
Dale will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit, resilience, and love for life will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Rest in peace, Dale.
