Claude Clifton Sweeney Jr., 74, of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away at Twin Lakes Therapy & Living in Flippin, Arkansas on November 16, 2025. He was born on January 15, 1951, in Covington, Tennessee, the son of Claude Clifton Sweeney Sr. and Mildre Glover Sweeney.

Claude was a brick mason by trade. He enjoyed hunting and shotting guns. He was a bargain buyer and reseller. Claude was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bull Shoals, Arkansas for over 20 years.

Claude will be missed dearly by his family and his church family. Per his wishes, he did not want a service. Some of his friends will gather privately and spread his ashes.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation located in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
