Charles Sidney East, 67, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center on December 14, 2024. He was born on January 3, 1957, in De Queen, Arkansas, the son of George and Barbara (Dowdle) East.
Sid loved his two animals, Fat Cat (cat) and Peanut (dog). He was retired but had been a diesel mechanic for over 30 years. He enjoyed traveling to Washington State frequently, visiting Mount Rainier. Sid served in the Air Force for 6 years. He was an Arkansas Razorback football fan. Sid appreciated collecting high dollar watches, Rolex’s and Omega’s. Throughout his travels, Sid was always on the hunt for flamingos, not those cheap pink plastic ones! He appreciated quality ones.
Sid is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his partner of 16 years, Debbie Parker, his 3 siblings George, April, and Scott East. Also, he leaves behind his two nieces and many other friends and family.
No service will be provided as per Sid’s request.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
