Carolyn Hope "Chantelle " Barlow was born on March 5, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio and peacefully passed away on January 10, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
She worked in the healthcare field for many years. She also worked as a daycare provider and bus driver. She was a devoted Jehovah Witness and true to her beliefs.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed spending time with her children and doing events with them. Her joy in life during her later years was making personalized jewelry for family and friends.
She was survived by her 4 sons Sean Barlow (Jenni), Jason Barlow, Nicholas "Chad" Barlow (Shana), Travis Barlow, and her stepdaughters Vicki Clark and Diane Plantz (Randy), as well as her brother Mark Abernathy, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And let's not forget her beloved dog Simba and her cherished bird Tweetie. She was proceeded in death by her mother Ruby Abernathy, father Don Abernathy, sister Teri Allen (Chect), brother Donald Abernathy and brother Danny Abernathy.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to Sonya a dear friend who cared for her and helped her in her times of need with transportation and companionship as well as a special thank you to Shane Fundyk and Matt Cortata for staying with her throughout her last few years.
As we on earth, adventure into our future without you, we will always hold you near and dear to our hearts. Love you mom/grandma.
