Carl (Fink) Finkbeiner Obituary

Carl "Fink" Erwin Frank Finkbeiner (84) of Harrison, AR passed away on Sunday, May 5th, 2024, at the North Arkansas Medical Center.  He was born August 11th, 1939, in Pine Bluff, AR. He was the son of the late Ernest Finkbeiner and Gladys Louise Hudson Finkbeiner. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1957. He married Dorothy Jean Brown on August 9th, 1958. The two were married for 65 years before Dorothy passed away on December 15, 2023. He was also preceded in death by his late sisters Rosalyn Finkbeiner Jones, and Louise Navarre, and brother Ernie Finkbeiner.

He is survived by his only child Pam Armstrong and husband Mike of Harrison, Arkansas. Grandchildren Heath "Pete" Patrick Armstrong and Tanner "Boe" Boone Armstrong\Leanna Zimmerman great grandchild Jordan James Armstrong brother-n-law Tom brown and sister-n-law Mary Brown

His siblings are Joanne Taube of Warrensburg, MO, AR, Gladys Hawkins of Sarasota, FL, and Frank Finkbeiner (Kathy) of Orlando, FL.

Carl was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a lifelong member of Ridgeway Church of Christ. He took early retirement from Mass Merchandisers in 1995 to aid in the care of his grandsons and was their wonderful "PawPaw". He attended all Northark college basketball games and Harrison High School ball games with his buddies Shorty Ozier and the late Bill Huber, Wimp Johnson & John Phillips, and was a member of the Harrison football chain gang.

On the morning of passing, he tells Pam that when he gets to heaven and meets Jesus, finds Dorothy, his friends, and family, he wants to meet Elvis. 

A private ceremony for the family will be held as were his wishes.
