Mrs. Bonnie May Spangler, 85, of Gassville, Arkansas passed away on January 16, 2024. She was born March 7, 1938, in Cotter, Arkansas to Homer Lee Queen and Emma Lee Taylor Queen.
Bonnie graduated from Cotter High School in 1956. She married Howard Spangler in 1956 and moved to Covina, California. She enjoyed her 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Bonnie loved holiday gatherings at her home in Covina, California, visiting her relatives in Arkansas, and working in her rose garden.
Mrs. Spangler is survived by a daughter, Deborah (Larry) Lair of Gassville, Arkansas; a son, Michael (Becky) Spangler of Hesperia, California; and another son Lyndell (Debra) Spangler of Hesperia, California. Also, 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Geneva Sinor of Buffalo City, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Emma Queen, her husband Howard Spangler in 2009, a grandson Justin Alexander in 2021, 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
Interment will be later at Riverside National Cemetery, in Riverside, California.
