Obituary

Barbara Gale Smith of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away May 13, 2023, in Omaha, Arkansas, at the age of 76. She was born May 26, 1946, in Ventura, California, the daughter of Claude Lester Allbright and Geneva Hodges. She married Dale Smith on May 2, 1980, and the two celebrated 42 years together. Barbara lived around the Twin Lakes most of her life. She worked at Mar-Bax for years and then went on to work for the Cotter School System for several more years before opening her own retail store Something Special in Flippin, Arkansas.

Barbara is survived by her son, Darren (Lisa) Rose of Omaha; grandchildren Kendra Harrison, Brian Rose, Meagen (Kirt) Williams, Austin Hamilton, Corey (Amber) Rose, Rachael (Tyler) Baker, and Shaunessy Hamilton; great-grandchildren Keegan Rose, Keeley Rose, Olivia Rose, Sawyer Williams, Colt Rose, Presley Hamilton, and Ridge Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother Ronald Allbright; her two sisters Jeannette Rose and Deanna Huddleston; her two daughters, Debbie Hamilton and Tammy Harrison.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1PM, Wednesday May 17, 2023, at Gassville Cemetery, in Gassville, Arkansas.
