Barbara Rosenfeld Obituary

Barbara Rosenfeld was born on November 1, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois to Irving and Rachel Rosenfeld.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Bonita Rosenfeld.

Barbara is survived by her closest friend/sister Barbara Bergan, her nephews, Scott, Steve, Daniel, Bobby, Christopher, Brad, Luke, Greg and Roger. Her nieces, Heidi, Karen, Crystal, Teresa, Paula and Melissa.  Her great nephews, Joshua, William, Daniel Jr, Chris Jr, Robert Jr, Scott Jr and Mathew. Her great nieces, April, Autumn, Stacy, Ashley, Katie, Sarah, Brittney and Hannah.

Barbara was a journeyman finish carpenter by trade, but her passion was art. She loved to paint in oils, and she was a skilled sculptor. In her younger days she was very adventurous and once rode her BMW motorcycle cross country from New Jersey to Southern California to start her new life.  She studied the martial arts and attained a black belt in Karate. At one point she actually trained with Chuck Norris. In 2010, Barbara moved to Lead Hill and started her new adventure in Arkansas. Barbara was a devout Messianic Jew. She loved Jesus and loved sharing the Gospel with whoever would listen. She concerned herself with the needs of others over her own needs and will be loved and missed by all who knew her.  The Lord called Barbara home on December 28, 2023.

A graveside service is scheduled at 2:00 PM on January 1, 2024, at the Milum Cemetary in Lead Hill Arkansas. Rabbi David Raboi will officiate. In lieu, of flowers a donation to a charity supporting Israel would be appropriate.
