Barbara Adeline Franco

The family of Barbara Adeline Franco is sharing with you news of the death of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Barbara passed from this life on June 29th.
Barbara was 88 years of age having shared her life with her husband of 56 years, Leno, who passed from this life in 2008. She is survived by her sons; Stephen, Gary, Richard and Ronald, and her daughter, Brenda. Barbara was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to her parents, Joseph and Lorene Beckford in 1932.
She and Leno raised their five children in Tulsa, Oklahoma, enjoying a warm and caring home. She has most recently resided in the home of her daughter, Brenda, in St. Paul, Texas. Barbara is warmly remembered by the many lives that she touched among her family and friends. In addition to her five children, Barbara is survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Please join her family in your fond memories of her.
Graveside service at St. Joseph's cemetery in Tontitown, AR will be conducted on Friday, 10 July at 11 AM. The traditional funeral mass and dinner is being eschewed in light of the still very active COVID-19 epidemic.
All who wish to do so are very welcome to join us, however in these days of the epidemic it is certainly understandable if any deem it unwise to travel and gather to honor Mom in that way. We encourage all to honor her by intentionally extending kindness to those around you. We are most sure that Mom would be both pleased and proud knowing that she inspired us to actually make the world a little better in so doing.
