Aryan Benjamin Slay was born October 14, 1973 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to Ricky Slay and Susan (Martin) Hammame. He passed away on November 28, 2020 in Springfield, Missouri. Aryan lived most of his life in the Green Forest, Arkansas area, graduating high school in 1993. He loved riding motorcycles, hunting, looking for arrowheads, and teaching all his kids to swim and fish. On April 5, 2002 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas he married Amber Mahaffey. Aryan and Amber have four children that he loves very deeply. He was greatly loved and will be very much missed including his temper and all.
Aryan will be dearly missed by those whom he left behind; his wife Amber Slay; children Colton Slay, Kaylee Slay, Zander Slay and Tierany (Mahaffey) Matlock, spouse Cole Matlock; Grandchildren, Skyler and Carter Matlock, Willow and Weston Taylor; mother Susan Hammame; Brothers, Shane Slay, Sam Slay, Adam Hammame and sister Alex (Slay) Gardner; stepmother Cindy Slay; Grandmothers: Shirley Granger and Mary Jo Slay; uncles Jason Granger, Mike Slay, Bruce Slay and aunts Sandy Horton, Susie Halsted. A host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Father and mother in-law Joe and Clesa Mahaffey. Sister In-law Jezreel Mahaffey and children Cody Phelps, Jordan Mahaffey and Jasmine Mahaffey. Brother in-law Zeb Mahaffey, spouse Jennifer Mahaffey.
Aryan was preceded in death by his father Ricky Slay, 2014, his brother Michael Slay, 2004 and stepfather Jessie Hammame 2019.
